Claymation

So, this was only an excercise to get me started to play with clay and learn more about the material ... I think another type of clay probably would have worked better for this kind of purpouse, though ... :)

Knut,
That short video was really neat and a great intro to the idea of experimentation with clay. I liked how the two personified forms "bonded" and together formed a smooth ball, which is a common starting point for the beginning of clay creation. So, I liked that the two forms returned "back to the drawing board."

Hi guys, and thanks for the feedback :)

Lance, the software I used is a freeware I found on versiontracker.com, and it is called 'SingleFramer'. It is really easy to use. For the filming I used a DV-camera I got from ebay for $100. I use a mac, but I'm sure there are even more software to choose from on a pc ...

Knut (Sorry for name confusion, I use my sons google account for this ... to lazy to make another one :)

I really enjoyed the claymation. But, more than that, I feel like I understand it. Like to know how you did it.
